What I think is funny is that most people that got banned also pre-ordered the games legit and just couldn't contain their excitement. It's like we've been banned for being extra hard pokemon fans. Shame on you Nintendo. XD

We need someone who 100% was banned from eshop to try I guess. I'll probably do it after the '15' is up just in the off chance they unban. I mean it might work but my impression of the eshop/nn ban was console based and not the same as the other ban.

Same question as @JasonPK92. If I formatted the 3ds with the NNID could I set it up on another 3ds, would everything be OK? It's a console ban from what I can see.

When people say they "only been to the festival plaza and got banned too", they mean they went to the plaza with wifi turned on and connected to nintendo's server? I barely remember what I did at the plaza, but I had the wifi turned off and I don't think it ever prompted me to connect. Al this paranoia is making me think I'll be banned as well even tho it shouldn't be literally possible. I'm still playing story mode (barely survived against the school of wishiwashis lol), so I guess I will try replacing the game with the legit cia tomorrow or whenver it's available and then try online play.

Probably should but that brings up even more risk than waiting for slowhax I assume given I own no soldering gun/whatever and never tried before. The tutorial doesn't look difficult though.
