Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

If you're a master of social engineering - maybe - otherwise you need to obtain or doctor proof showing you "bought a banned console at a store". Nintendo wouldn't just remove the ban without precedent.

Now it's downloading the game. Will this already include the seed and give me a version that I can use online after the 18th ?

Then you shouldn't have gone online with a pirated copy? You have no one to be mad at but yourself man. I mean it sucks but if your system and online meant that much to you, you would have played it safe. Most of us that went online on purpose used our extra consoles.

Since the game is out in Australia and has legit ID (and your 3DS is AU), chances that it'll be flagged are pretty low. The same was true for the other freeShop titles etc.

Again the Ver. 0 thing has nothing to do with anything. The dump everyone downloaded before IS legit, and after importing the real seed vs a dummy, it becomes legit legit. People got banned for going online in an unreleased game, NOT FOR THE COPY OF THE GAME THEY USED. Sheesh. The ONLY reason that quote from Nintendo says "Banned users found to be using unauthorized copies" is because common sense says if they game hasn't been released and you're online, without being whitelisted, you didn't obtain the game legally. That's it, there was no secret service remote viewing mumbo jumbo.
