You guys are talking about sharing the same seed. all your devices are going to look the same from their servers. what do you think is going to happen when the same console gets online 200+ times at the same time?

Why wouldnt they tell you when a temp ban means a returning customer? wouldn't they want to ensure that customer?
Exactly. If too many people use the same seed = ban.
I hope there could be a o3DS seed generator so there could be multiple seeds for the public to use.
Maybe have a preset limit in them?
25 people to 1 seed maybe, idk.

I DID call them and asked them... I'll show you my "take this survery" and the e-mail troubleshooting guide they sent as proof if necessary. They were vague about the ban on purpose. They are NOT going to give anyone any kind of reassurance what so ever as to the ban or how long it will last. Anyone who say's otherwise is full of crap. I told them I bought the banned DS from a second hand shop 3 days ago (I DID buy a DS 3 days ago from a second hand shop) they asked me what the error code was, I gave them both, They put me on hold for a good 10 minutes then proceeded to ask me for the serial number of the console, the MAC and proof of printed receipt (not invoice) from the shop I bought it from. I gave them everything and first they told me it was a "hardware failure" and that I should return the DS. When I told them it was bought second hand, with a no returns policy, They escalated my call and I spoke with a manager who asked all the same questions. In the end I was unbanned and was told that "In the future, check the console before buying from a used shop".

I don't think creating some faux invoice from a non-existent shop would work since they asked for a photo of the printed receipt, not a copy. I'm pretty sure they have gotten lots of calls like mine between yesterday and today, just know they won't help you if you don't have empirical evidence you could have potentially been innocent.

Not if we broke the terms of service. Do you think we are a returning customer then? It was one guy. If you want me to believe it then like i said record your call with them. I hate talking on the phone. Much less lying for an hour to nintendo

I mean like, instead of complaining on the thread you could give suggestions/theories on how to get unbanned or such. I mean there are people who haven't been banned, you can ask them to be a tester or something, tbh

There was a second wave ban - it was this morning. I wasn't banned yesterday but got banned this morning.

Thanks for telling me!
Mind sharing what exactly you did prior to the ban? Connected to anything in-game such as GTS, Wonder Trade, Mystery Gift?
Just went on with wifi enabled? Did you share to you friends the game you were playing?

Hey, Quick question, since this morning my CIA installed version of Moon has been telling me about the distribution date (6 days from now, EU, game has been working fine since the leak happened.), I can't launch it as it attempts to go online (Wifi is turned off). Deleted Moon and reinstalled it, but same issue. Anyone know a way to get rid of it? Thanks.

I just checked my 3ds, ive been done wonder trade once and someone requested me to battle few days ago, it got interrupted and i thought it was fine
BUT
I now see 022 2813 on eshop and 002 0102.
Did i fuck myself up?
I have o3ds with a9lh + luma
Is there any way to unban myself?
If i send mails to ninty would they help me

Launch the game with FBI.

That is vague, but sounds perma to me. if it were a temporary they would have just said "we'll have it resolved in the next couple weeks". why manually lift the ban if it was due to expire anyway?

There was a second ban? Oh-oh, time to check if I was one of them :v

Any news since I was gone?
There was a user who experienced a ban only after reboot so this could be a first-wave ban as well. Anyway, the game is out in 10 minutes
To confirm, I just went into friends code list, eShop, PSS online in Pokemon X.

So this apparent second wave ban, I missed to :)
so that makes two of us survivors. The eShop release is out in 5 minutes or so. Are they going to continue these banwaves after the release I wonder

No fix, yet, if ever.

Well they would manually lift a ban that's due to expire in 15 days if the patron didn't receive the ban themselves. It wouldn't be morally sound to just say "Oh well it's only temporary, you'll be fine in a week!" After buying a new console? No one would do that.
