Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

Not going through 50+ pages of drama, just want to know if it's safe to go online with the dumped CIA after the street date rollover (no I did not go online with it atm because I suspected something like this would happen, and I'm getting physical Sun cart anyway).

If you're talking about the Moon CIA dumped by Lurantis, I wouldn't recommend using it online ever. It has an invalid version string and will
1- bug you for updates that don't exist
2- may be visible to nintendo.

Once the official CIA hits, backup your saves, install the official and restore your saves onto that for safety's sake. (However if people were too concerned about safety this whole mess wouldn't be going on lol)

Yes, but we don't know if there are any side effects and it only unbans for games, not eShop/Miiverse.

eeeem people, mi case is rare xD. I´ve the error 022-2812, I can´t acces to eshop and miiverse, but I can play online with others games, MH, ORAS, XY, also can see my online friends...

Most likely not. All things point to a unique console (not NAND) identifier or MAC address.

Have you tried? I believe you can have more than one emunand not sure it'd change whatever the eshop ban is but worth trying. or like another said restoring a nand backup of pre-ban. Though it's doubtful that it'd fix anything.
