Hacking Does upgrading to latest firmware effect vwii flow?

Iam using HBL and Wiiflow on Wii U firmware 4.0.2. Do you think Wiiflow will be effected if I update to 5.5.1?

Tried searching the vwii thread without luck. Thanks.

AFAIK, when updating, vWii isn't touched at all, so you should be good updating.

As @cheuble said, no wiiu updates affect vwii at all. Don't worry.

Wii U updates can possibly affect the vWii mode. This was mainly shown in the Wii U v4.0 update which is what broke the Homebrew Channel's widescreen rendering.

But no updates from 4.0 (as far as I'm aware) have changed the vWii mode. You should be fine updating from 4.0.2 to 5.5.1.
