Hacking help... 2ds brick when do ctrtransfer

I do not read the territorial correctly.. I am confused after do ctrtransfer Screen distortions ... and i format the system. after that i can't to complete initial setup.

can i use hardmodd to fix this.
i still have NAND backup

Can you please give more details? What FW was it originally on? Which region? Did you follow the guide? If you didn't follow the tutorial correctly then that is down to you. Which part did this occur on?

yaaa thats FW 9.2 original.. US region.. before i use CWF luma menuhack. I want to install a9lh in my consol. what could still be improved. thats my mistake. it iniquity not focus reading territory.

I think OP formatted 2DS while on 2.1. Only a hardmod can fix it.

iirc the guide does say not to - the 2ds is like o3ds but comes on 6.x factory?

So you immediately reset after getting down to 2.1? And now can't complete initial set up because you don't have a 3d slider?

If you have hard mod, just restore the backup, because even if you use the recovery to update to get out of that, you'll end up with 11.2 and still have to hard mod to downgrade to 9.2.

Basically 6.x MSET was for 2DS, anything lower and it'll think 2DS is a 3DS because 6.x MSET can detect if there is a 3D slider. Since OP can't do initial setup, and he says the screen is distorted, then I assume he formatted through system settings, which makes the 2DS freak out as it looks for a 3D slider, which it of course doesn't have. Only a hardmod + backup can fix it

If you have a NAND backup, a hardmod can restore the entire NAND and fix this.

Never format a 2DS while on a version <6.0.0 or you will be unable to complete initial setup and will BRICK!
