Homebrew issues, problems, tears and about to be a broken 2ds.....

Let me start by saying hello! I am not a noob when it comes to these things, just with the 3DS (2DS). Following the guide here: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki and running into major problems. I am on system 9.2 and when I get to 2.1.0 ctrtransfer I am no longer able to get into homebrew. Browserhax, nor stickerhax works at all. Paper Mario Sticker Star wants me to update, did that with the wifi off to try to get stickerhax to work, kicks me back to the main screen. Browserhax stops at gray, kicks back out to main screen. I have all the latest and greatest files downloaded to the SD card. Anyone willing to help me out? You will be paid with a virtual hi 5! Right now I can only start the 2ds with the SD card in (so I am afraid to delete files off of it) and the top screen is stretched. Worst case I take this thing and smash it off the wall and use my old 3ds or my new 3ds xl. This started out as "let me see if I can do it", well I obviously can not so I have turned to you in my time of need so I am not defeated.

The browser doesn't work immediately. It took me about 6 or so tries for it to actually work back when I did the a9lh process.

On top of that, also make sure that you're using the browserhax files provided by the guide and not the normal browserhax files one would use if they were trying to access the HBL.

After installing it the first time, doing the rest of the guide and finding homebrew was not working I put the original files back in (in case they were overwritten). I will triple check that right now.

Did that, and did the "initialize save data", no dice.

Definitely shouldn't take 10 hrs worth of tries. Something is wrong.

So you're unable to get into the homebrew launcher and you're on 9.2, right?

Correct. No HBL at all. Via browserhax or stickerhax.

Just to be sure, you're on 9.2.0-20 and you put the contents of the starter.zip on the root of your sd card?

I am going to say you are 100% correct. Saying that because once I do the step for 2.1.0 the top screen goes wide and I am unable to see what ver I am on.

That's normal since 2.1.0 wasn't designed for 2DS.

As of right now, I restored the NAND, did browserhax (put to D up, have decrypt9 on D down). Redid stickerhax, and am currently doing the 2.1.0 with decrypt9. And this sucks this site makes you wait to post. Have 138 seconds left to wait to post!

After you do the ctrtransfer you are no longer on 9.2. You have to go to the given url to get the OTP.

Were you trying to get into the homebrew launcher after the ctrtransfer?

Been there, done that. Have it on the SD card and on my computer. The problem is the next step, where you have to get into homebrew, I can't get into homebrew at all.

Did the guide change? After that you install a9lh, setup luma, and restore the nand with hourglass9.

Just checked. It didn't change. After the ctrtransfer you don't need to use the homebrew launcher.

if that is the case, and I am an idiot who can not read I will be so F'ing mad at my self for all this BS i dealt my self and the people who have been helping here! I went back to the guide and I kept reading (but skipped where it said New 3DS. boot into homebrew) I will continue with the guide and hope all goes well. I apologize for being a "selective" reader.
