So can this be used to dump legitimate tickets off disc games as-is?

Because I have so many legitimate tickets to dump off disc games

If you have pip installed, you can install the pycrypto package with "pip install pycrypto". You should be able to look up more info about installing pycrypto for your environment with google if that isn't enough to make it work alone.
I found pycrypto and now I'm trying to run make. My issue now is I get this error:
make: *** [sections/0x5000000.bin] Error 127
Also to note I'm using windows not Linux

sure, if you are in the wupclient of my iosuhax fork you just have to insert a disc, type in "mount_odd_tickets()", then "w.dldir("/vol/storage_odd_tickets")" which drops a vol folder in the iosuhax folder with the contents of that partition, rename that to whatever you want I guess, then you do "unmount_odd_tickets()" and take the disc out, repeat.
oh and if you want to dump locally installed eshop tickets, that command would be "w.dldir("/vol/system_slc/rights/ticket/apps/")" by the way.

well I found the missing section and put it in, but now I run into several error windows from armips saying I'm missing DESKTOPCRT140D.dll, APPCRT140D.dll, and that "The proedure entry point _Thrd_id could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\armips\armips.exe"

If using WUP Client GUI:
Click mount odd_tickets
Navigate up (..) to /vol/
Double-click storage_odd_tickets
Right-click on the 02 folder and click Download (02 is data partition, 03 is update partition - correct me if I'm backwards)

You can't download individual files, you must do entire folders.

Sometimes it can be easier to make a linux flash drive or disc.

Wait if you say mount the content folder of a game, could you edit that have have some sort of like rom hack without even needing to open homebrew?

This currently only reads/downloads files from the system, it doesn't write them back. That's what makes this so safe to use right now.

I always get
patches/0x5000000.s
make: armips: Command not found
make: *** [patched_sections/0x5000000.bin] Error 127
When i do have it in my envirmental path.
