There isn't too much of a difference - just different methods of entrypoint. While they run for similar prices on ebay, I'd say the increase in price for cubic ninja is probably just due to left over copies people are selling for high amounts and at the same time not changing their prices. Both methods are easy.

Just v3.zip, the others are source code which is for developers.

Here's a video that goes through the installation process, it's just a bit confusing to understand where you are by your descriptions.

I think i got it the top screen says homebrew launcher and my bottom screen has 15 boxes to choose from like SUPER FTPD ll TURBO,PRBOOM 3DS,mGBA ect...... can u tell me whats next ?

Now that you have access to the homebrew launcher you want to install A9LH and Luma as CFW: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-3-(A9LH) Read thoroughly! It will explain when to use your homebrew launcher and what program to choose.

He already said he's on 11.0 and doesn't need a CFW as all he wants to do is run Retroarch

You wanna get the retroarch 3dsx, put it in your 3ds folder, and go into the homebrew launcher. Retroarch should be there.

My mistake, you don't need CFW if you just want retroarch. You can find a thread about installing retroarch on gpatemp with a google search, and that should suffice.
