The flashcart will let you play DS roms. The guide i link will let you play 3ds roms.
It will emulate NES, SNES, GBA, GB, and GBC at full speed if you have the old 3ds. The new 3ds can run PlayStation 1 at near fullspeed but no N64.

If you need any more help I can PM you.

I'll be picking up a 16-32gb SD card from my local store did that tutorial show how to format the SD card to work on this mod
The tutorial https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki will tell you everything you need to know to play 3ds roms. So yes it does tell you how to format your sd card. (I recommend a 32 GB sd card for the 3ds and the a 16 for the ds flashcart)

Just do exactly what the guide says. If you read it, you'll see the steps say something like, "extract the blah blah folder to the root of your SD card".

Thanks but i just found out the system i just bought has 11.1.0 so i guess i cant do nothing with it

If you can find a cheap copy of freakyforms deluxe or cubic ninja you can run retroarch and play retro games.

Yep, retroarch is a series of emulators that allow you to play SNES and NES among others. Installing homebrew is the hard part, easy breezing from there. Just make sure you follow the guide word for word, it's important to not miss a step!
