Hacking Region changed new 3ds play online?

I had a Zelda mm edition LL 3ds changed to EUR using plailect guide.

I know it can't access eshop but I have been able to update system firmware using the update option in settings.

Will I be able to play online with EUR games with others in our region?

And is it wise to use eshop to download game updates rather than install them manually?

Wierd I updated after a region changed us to jp emunand just fine after using plailect guide...you can't use game updates natively, need freeshop or something else.

System update worked. Do you have a custom menu installed?

Sorry misread post, yes you can do anything but eshop and game updates at this point

No worries, that was because I misread the post and thought you couldn't system update.
