Can you see this picture? Something is wrong with it, can you tell what it is? Well let me help out. On the left is mega man III and the right is Mega man II

See it now? Look carefully, the very far left.... there is a black bar on the side of the screen. I dunno why but is like this in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th games but not 1st and 2nd. I dunno why this is, is it a programmer fault? Is it a rom issue? Can it be fixed? Is bothered me for years. How something like this went unnoticed.

The second thing i needed to show in a animated clip, i just made it for purpose of demostration, so ignore the popups.
Simply look at shadow man's box on the top of it. Is glitched graphic twitching. Is this a rom issue or emulation issue, can it be fixed?

that black border is also present in the super mario games, it most likely it's done because the NES was limited, that is something normal..

that second issue is from the emulator.. most likely you can solve it by change some settings in the filtering options or something like that...
some emulators let you choose the graphics plugin (for example direct x, or software rendering)
i don't know what emulator you are using but try to tinker in the graphic settings

I'm using nes.emu by explusalpha, is a android emulator.

I'll try a different one, although problems like this never happened in most games. But that black bar is a actual hardware issue right? So i mean even emulation wouldn't try to fix it with the intention of mimic actual hardware features I guess? Sounds silly to be honest.

I had figured it could be fixed with a rom patch or something, or least one emulator would have a fix.
