You can try and edit your rean to this value: tested and it work.

Change your current to these value:
Level;111
Exp;1265410
STR;XXXX (9999)

or

level;142
exp;2066461
str;xxxx

Save it ;)

50k damage >_<
Yeah was able to get it to work a few hours ago

Though some characters can't be edited because they are in 2 byte ints:(

Oh well, at least I have some characters at 200 now.

so Rean total exp and exp to next level are both binary decimal? can't seem to find exp to next level
and im guessing Rean level is 2 byte like his stats?

Because it's not hosted there. SOURCE. The editor supposedly works for Dragons Crown, Final Fantasy X/X-2, God of War Collection, the Super Robot Taisen games, and virtually any game that has a checksum (apparently.) I have attached it to this post.

This is my (very, very rough) interpretation on how to use this tool.
If you want to use it (it works for both pirated games and legit games) the instructions are:

1. If the game is a non-encrypted game, place this eboot and the folder in the ux0:/patch/titleid (where titleid = the game you want to hack)
1a. If the game is a vitamin/mai dump, place the save editor's eboot in the game's ux0:/app/titleid folder, renaming the game's original eboot to eboot.org
1b. Create a folder in ux0: named "savedata_bak"
2. Start the game
3. When the app has loaded, immediately press L+Start to create a backup of your save data. R+Select will restore the file you are currently editing. Remember this.
3a. This app features touchscreen support, so you tap the fields to input your data. There is an on-screen number input for this.
3b. Use the d-pad to cycle through your saves. This will help you compare values, as this tool supports multiple save comparisons. To enable File Comparison Mode, tap the small box in the second bigger box. Uncheck this to use the second bigger box for modifications (I assume)
4. press Square to begin the search. Your results will appear on the bottom two text boxes. Use Up or Down on the dpad to cycle through addresses.
5. When you are done modifying your values, press Circle, then press Triangle. Exit out of the app.
6. Open vitashell/moleculeshell and rename the modified eboot to eboot.mod, and the game's original eboot back to eboot.bin.
7. Start the game. See if it will load your save, and if the modified addresses were applied.

OK....this was a bit rougher than I thought.

Got the tool booted up.

Looks like you can search values against each other? Multiple files?

Anyway, I search one file for a value using the upper left field.

Square to search, results on the lower left corner (cycle through them with dpad left and right)

Tricky Part:

The values that come up in the results DO NOT match the value I input.

When I change the value using the box to the right of the result value, I don't know how to apply it (If I scroll away and back the value is the same as it was)

Can someone else try and figure it out? I think I'm at wit's end.

really strange,

in one of my save files i was testing with i found it, edited it and it worked fine! (this save was a quite a bit earlier on in the game when i had 1 U-Material to use as testing)

i use the same offset in my most recent save...and nothing happens? no U-Material at all?

anyone have any idea?

T
The offset you use is only for the line of the item. For example,if your U-material is at line 3 in the item menu,it will only change the value at line 3 and not your U-material at line 2 for your other saves,if I'm not mistaken.

So with this new tool, would it be possible to edit Freedom Wars without a corruption error??

From what I can tell it appears to be a plugin of sorts. What it does is basically similar to cwcheat. You put it in the ux0:/patch folder of the game you want. When the game starts up, the plugin should start, and you can use it to search for values/addresses. Change the value you want, then exit the plugin. From what I csn tell it only edits save files though and is not in-game editing so to speak. It supports fixing the checksums of toukiden, dragon crown, ffx/2 and god of war currently. So not all checksums, and nope no freedom wars.

Anyone attempt to dump and edit save from Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus cartrige and Soul Sacrifice Delta?

For NGS+ I can edit the save file created using the vitamin dump. But I'm struggling to get my old save in the game cart which took me a long time to get to the highest difficulty. It seems like the game did not detect the patch folder so it just start normally instead of opening MolecularShell.

For SSD I can decrypt my save and import to the vitamin dump via rinCheat just fine, but importing the edited file (edited with HxD) only results in corrupted save.

Maybe start a new one? OP doesn't seem to be updating the Original Post. And most people won't be searching through the pages.
Yeah. I'd totes be fine with someone taking over the thread/making a new one. :creep:I don't have as much free time as I used to thanks to school.

This looks good, but "second bigger box" first small box" what? o.O

Box A (Top big box)
Box B (Bottom Big box, with the smaller box to enable File Comparison Mode)
Ok, I get confused easily :D
But so, where we put the value to search? The guide only explain how to enable comparison and do a search, but when putting values to compare/search?

When you first open the app, do you notice there are 0's in boxes? tap those and then use the number pad on the right to enter in the values.

I couldn't even figure out how to apply the direct changes. I mentioned that it was a very very rough tutorial.

Good evening everyone,

I'm trying to find a money cheat for "stranger of sword city" PCSE00818
Not that the game is very difficult, but i hate running back and forth from dng to town when i run out of mp or potions just to heal..
I exported decrypted savegames via rincheat and ftp
And now i don't know what files to scan or edit. Tried the two saves .bin first, no result. Now i found the sdslot.dat inside the sce_sys folder and i'm trying to scan that but to no avail so far.
Any insight or input should help, if for example my current amount is 422c , what should i input in the search string? I can try a hex editor as well but i read here that cheat engine is easier to work with.
Thank you for the trouble,
Let me know if you want me to upload a save and which particular file is the exact save,
Have a lovely Sunday,
H

p.s. after digging up a bit i noticed there's also the pc version and cheat engine has a rough sketch on it... is it possible to copy the cheats to vita?
