Hacking System transfer without updating to 11.1?

I'm guessing not, but I have a non cfw 11.0 o3ds that need to transfer to a cfw/a9lh n3ds, but the system won't let me do it because of the recent update (which I don't want to do on my o3ds in case of a 11.0 exploit in the future)

Assuming 3ds #1 and 3ds #2 are both on v11.0, so we just run ctr-httpwin on both consoles and we can now do system transfer? Has this been tested yet?

haven't actually tested the transfer, but I know you can get past the "you need to update" message using it.

This would be great news. I just need someone to confirm this. I have a scheduled DSiWare downgrade tomorrow for my friend and the update screwed it up. I hope this works tho.

You don't need CFW/a9lh for ctr-httpwin?

I think all you need is access to homebrew launcher.

So it seems to have worked, full access to a9lh. (Though I did seem lose digital bundled game I had on my N3ds.. oh well.)

EDIT: Actually my bundle game seems to be available for re download in the eshop, so no loses.

I think the ctr-httpwin workaround is not needed anymore since we can now access HBL with the latest update.

At least it's an option if you don't want to update an non-cfw system.

Bumping since this will probably be useful soon to those who want to do DSiWare Downgrade on a 11.0 system with browserhax (for example if they cannot get Steel Diver).

If you are on 10.7 you can just downgrade without another 3ds.
