Nope, I disabled it as it was broken. I'll fix it soon though. I hope.

I just pushed the CIA to the GitHub repo tho, check it out! ;)
Tested with both Corbenik and Skeith.
Clean install for both worked just fine
Custom paths are working just fine
Dirty install turned out just fine for both of them
Edit: I just noticed it still backs up the arm9loaderhax.bin, even with custom paths. Not really a bad thing, just interesting.
Actually, I just noticed it installs the arm9loaderhax.bin despite the custom path. Which could be problematic for shadowNAND users, like myself.
edit: Still deletes the config files.

what config files? If custom paths are working fine, when does it remove config?
Also, I'll look into that arm9loaderhax.bin, if it detects no arm9loaderhax after installing, it'll rename the backup. This really wasn't made thinking about ShadowNAND. I'll check it out though, I must fix it.

Setting up
Code:
/corbenik-updater-re/settings/corbenik.cfg

or

/corbenik-updater-re/settings/skeith.cfg
Both seem to get deleted upon first start up

This only happens if the payload paths written in those files don't exist.

That's weird.
Are you sure those files exist when the updater boots?

Btw, I can easily fix arm9loaderhax.bin being placed at the root if no /arm9loaderhax.bin or /arm9loaderhax_si.bin .

The path to the payload is /homebrew/3ds/boot.bin in ShadowNAND, right?

What do you have written in the config?

They are the proper paths set up, they are actually under different custom paths for me
/Payloads/corbenik.bin
/Payloads/skeith.bin

Is there a way the updater can work without requirment for having the corbenik as primary CFW? I actually have it set up as payload for luma by holding X on system boot. I would actually have to Replace luma with the other cfw to detect and update right?

This doesn't require Corbenik to be the primary CFW. It requires it to be properly set up. That will change with the next update though, the updater will be capable of installing from scratch.

This issue you've been having is pretty weird. I can't reproduce it. It's working fine for me.

I think I know the cause of the issue. It might be the same issue I had with "Star updater." Where the Linux text editor I use adds a random space at the end.
I am running tests now.

Huh. if that's the case, it'll definitely affect the path checking. What editor do you use? Gedit and Geany never gave me any issues on Linux.

Pluma, I have a few others installed as well.

Iirc, I use Pluma on Ubuntu MATE, never ran into issues with it tho. I've never used it with this though.

I used the Windows text editor and still causes them to get deleted. I will run more tests in the morning.

All right.

I'll delay the Corbenik CFW Updater: RE update until @Crystal the Glaceon tests that, if I can fix the issue (if it is an issue on my side), it'll be great.

Just wanted to also say I'm having the same issues as Crystal the Glaceon. N3DS with shadownand and newest stable Corbenik and latest nightly Skeith.

I'll have to fix it, but first I must understand what's going on.
