This error is with NTRViewer which is not maintained by myself, I've not personally experienced this error. Are there errors in the Nitro Stream log?

EDIT: I have just merged some changes on github and will be fixing a minor error soon so stay tuned for an update.

And what's the difference between this and normal CTR Debugger? It seems to just be a front-end. Is the quality better or are there more fps?

I've received a comment from YouTube from a user who couldn't change their bottom screen scale factor after setting it to 0. Has anyone else encountered this before, and if so, how can it be fixed? The original question is as follows:

"Since I set the bottom screen scale to 0 and the upper one to 3, I can't change anything anymore, it's always 3 and 0 if I change it back to 1 the bottom screen still doesn't appear, is this a known issue? Any suggestions on how to fix that?"

You can manually edit the config file in a notepad. It's in the same directory as the exe and is generated on the first connection and saved again on every connection after. You could check that it's not being used by another application or that it's even being updated properly.

Temporary fix would be to just delete the file and let it get created again.

Please report back to me and let me know how that goes. Meanwhile I'll dig around and see what I can see.

NOTE: With the updated I released yesterday, the one that should notify users of a new version, I forgot to actually package the latest exe. Please redownload!

@NekoMichi If you don't mind, please would you mention in your tutorial that users should redownload the latest version due to my cockup! ;-)

Coming soon to a Mono runtime near you!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG....

Thanks for the hard work, i would help if i could but not good enough yet...

Just download the source and poke around! Watch a video on youtube about git (It's what I did) and issue some pull requests if you want! The worst that can happen is I reject it. But if I do, I'll tell you why!
The Mono version isn't on github yet, but it shares a lot of code with the windows version so you could start there. :)

If you want to help in a different way, I'm considering moving the windows version to Gtk aswell. You can give me some feedback on that idea, here: https://github.com/JakeHL/NitroStream/releases/tag/v9.9.9

In fact, when i say i'm not good enough yet, it's because i began following a Java course some weeks ago. I don't know C# but i see the syntax is quite similar and i have some years of VBA behind me (yeah yeah #Kappa)

Anyway, i'll see if i can help in some way but i think i won't be that useful.

Concerning the mono version, i think it's always welcome to have a multiplatform program. Being a streamer using a Mac, a tool like NitroStream in mono will be obviously saw as a golden tool, even more if Windows users don't see the difference.

Well it requires Gtk# to be installed to run. This unavoidable for Linux, Mac but the current Windows version doesn't need it.

Since we have to have mono for NTRdebugger and wine for the viewer i don't mind install gtk :P

i just written a small .command to launch the apps in one go but i still need to :

- enter the connect and remoteplay commands (using copy paste from hotkey command panels, since the hotkey feature seems to not work on Mac)
- launch NTRViewer via terminal using history

So if you can save me that time by just launching, recall last parameters and just hit Launch, you are the man !
