ROM Hack APM MHX/MHGen Save Editor

Decorations are supposed to be the item box, they're not equipment. If you go to the blacksmith and forge one it goes into item box, to get the ones you edited to work you need to put them into your pouch then deposit them back into the box. Also you can't put a decoration on equipment if it doesn't have any or enough slots.

Cats, just set their level to 1 and experience to 470,000 go on a harvest tour and deliver the pass. They'll jump to level 50 assuming you unlocked the max level cap and you'll get the award.

You cant have ANY account or supply item prior to questing, it doesn't matter if you put them in your box or whatever it WILL be removed. Use the Talisman editor linked on the first page to make your Talismans, you CANT edit charms, they are Account Items.

EDIT: The closest you can get to Inf Ammo is editing multiple slots to have the same shot ex: Gunner Pouch slots 1-8 Crag LV3 x9 = 72 Crag LV3 shots. But I haven't tested that yet because I've only played as a cat this entire game and on vacation now so I won't be able to try this, maybe someone else will.

As mentioned earlier by @Candy324 is there anyway to get around the anti-cheat rules about bringing charms and rust/ancientshards into quests? It does the same thing as if you had put a 0 quantity item in your pouch and just removes it when you go on the quest.

no , not even the the ntr plugin can do that, the closest thing is using the 99 item in pouch, and by some luck you found the charm/ancientshard, then it will appraised at the end of the quest

It does work. Putting the max number of a shot into every slot of the gunner pouch. For instance I used Pierce shot lvl 3. The max number for pierce shot lvl 3s is 60. I put 60 into all 8 slots so now I techincally have 480 shots and until I get down to only one stack the counter in the bottom right of the screen will not go below the max shots until I am down to said stack

Alright turns out it does actually lower the counter but the one lowest in the list for the ammo selector. As long as you keep the top-most ammo highlighted you can continually reload until you are out of ammo

200k is like hr 500ish.

Just test it out. If the HR is too high, then lower it a bit. If its too low, increase it a bit. Trial and error is the only way.

I am having a terribly annoying error!!!
I was doing exactly what you said about the save editor (hopefully) and no matter what when I start up the game and press on my own character the game just freezes and I don`t know why!!!
luckily I made backups! But I would really like it if you could tell me what I did wrong or if I did nothing wrong could you fix the editor please!!!!!

Ok I think first i went with the second option for a save manager, then I chose export extdata, type in the number you put there, exported the ext to my computer, opend it in the save editor you made, then after that any little thing I type in would just make the game freeze! I tried testing this and what I did was I chose to just change my HR to 314 and it crashed! Just with that! Then I tried it with just modifying the palico! I exported it so you can check the palico file if you like!

Don't touch the HR, just edit the HR Points to your desired HR. If you edit your HR before you completed HR 7 urgent, you will crash

charms are bound by the what is legal for natural charm generation. This includes slot restrictions on the traits and max number of slots. anything illegal is reduced to 0 slots and no skill points

can this editor help in claiming item packs? i have already claimed all the item packs in MHX and then converted my save file to MHGen, and when i was about to claim the packs for Mhgen, it was grayed out. i can download them from the menu but i cannot claim them when in my room. thanks!

What? You can just edit all the items you want into your save. It doesn't rely on item packs or anything

haha sorry. what i meant was, i don't really want to edit any items in, if you know what i mean, i just want to be able to claim the item packs normally.

i was hoping if there was anything to use in the editor to let me claim them again. i think because i already got the item packs from MHX, MHGen thinks that i already got them too.

@APM hello. First of all congratulations on your work, I am sure you put a hell lot of effort in creating this. However, I am terribly new in this process. Meaning I read your instructions but have no clue what to do or how to make this work. I don't know what you mean by Save editor, or how I import and export files. Can you give me links on the processes or describe them yourself? I know I ask a lot, but I really am new to this. Thank you in advance. Also, what is homebrew and cfw?
