ROM Hack how can i extract data from Nitendo 3ds game file?

I am game developer. I really interesting with nitendo game. i need to hack, extract, decomplie Nitendo 3ds game file to view data inside. I want to learn code from it. Can you help me please? HUG THANKS.

what do you mean? how to use it? i not still not hack 3ds file. i just downloaded in my computer. and i just just want extract data from it. Is you say use decrypt9 tool? is have video tutorial or this? how success % i can have with this tool. have you ever try?

You need to have a 3ds capable of running decrypt9 (a ds on 4.5-9.2) in order to decrypt roms. Then you need a tool to extract the files (search on here for that).
edit: dont rely on video guides, they are usually outdated and bad

what do you say!!!!? i just have only a computer. did i just heard i need to buy a nitendo 3ds device use for hack nitendo 3ds game file?

I never did any rom hacks so I can't help you there.

the point in decrypt9 is to allow programs to extract files from the rom (romfs and exefs). romfs contains all respurces for the game, and exefs contains code and some other things. After you decrypt (if the rom is encrypted) you need to use ctrtool to extract the files.

fwiw, the 2ds is much cheaper and is most likely going to be on some firmware that you can either downgrade, or use out of the box for decrypting.
