What from Nintendo is hacked? Their website looks good and all services are up.
If you talk from consoles, their care and don't repair your console but they never comment on this.
They also take down payloads for some hax with a DMCA notice.

Wut?

But in all seriousness, what are you talking about. I don't see Nintendo being hacked in any recent news, and I don't think Nintendo cares too much at this point. I mean, obviously they care, but not like they did about the Wii.

I don't think they care so much. The wii u is pretty much dead now. They all focusing on the nx. Nintendo maby even happy because now more people (5-10 people ) buy the console because it is hacked. For me personally this is my favorite console . Virtual console games, gamecube games, wii games, wii u games and all of this for free!!!! Ps4 and xbone besides pretty graphics have nothing.

OP, you have been answered by several tempers with legitimate answers. Since this thread is kind of pointless (Nintendo has not been hacked recently and don't care about their Wii or Wii U consoles at the moment), and you have answers, I'm reporting for a simple lock.

This is not helpful.

Yeah... I don't see anything. So I think they're fine. If this is hypothetical though, then they would obviously do everything in their power to get their account back.

hacked as in the available hacks, kernel exploit etc.

Why are you people so bad at coming to conclusions without it being put in a numerical listed thread with color-coded, in-bold headings?

Doesn't matter if it wasn't totally clear. Use context clues. Nintendo's response to being hacked. Well since you know they hadn't been hacked in the sense as there companies databases or whatever, then I wonder what the OP could be referring to? Maybe since this is the WiiU hacking sub-forum, possibly the WiiU? So yeah the mere addition of the word 'WiiU' could of helped clarify. Still not totally necessary.

And for the answer their reply has been nothing, because they never came out with a stability upgrade.

Most of us probably figured since this was on the WiiU hacking and homebrew forum, that this was too obvious. Kind of ruled it out. But you are right, no accounting for stupidity.

The thing is, this is a popular and busy forum. That forces everyone to speak English ( otherwise the post gets deleted ) so non native English users might not convey their message in the best way possible. Yet others have little patience for this. Which I think is causation for the plethora of IOSU threads. because 'IOSU' gets thrown out a lot, and has taken the form of some mythical deity that's not understood fully, but had whimsical properties attributed to it. So "Once IOSU is out can I blankity blank" is a result of misunderstanding.

We aren't bad at it. This post was made as if hacking the console happened today (if that is, in fact, what they are referring to). It happened like 4 years ago. Are they referencing the kernel exploit? That makes more sense but it was still nearly 3 months ago. This isn't a language barrier thing, it's an apathy thing. They want answers but can't be arsed to put more than 12 words in the OP for a total of 19 typed words. Meanwhile people who's second or third language is English have been making homebrew on the Wii for a majority English-speaking users, or providing in depth responses for users who are having issues.

This. OP has been called an asshole and stupid too. Which is a bit harsh...
It's also understandable not to know the answer to the question which I'm guessing they've asked. It just brings up responses such as "Nintendo dun care bout Wii U" which I believe is just an insinuation? Nintendo have never put out a press release saying "Fuck Wii U, Pir8 away m8ties.. yarghh. Cos NX IS DA FUTURE BB".
Do we have any idea how Nintendo Corporation comment on this situation?
If you mean the Kernel exploit for Wii U on 5.5.1 firmware (allowing the system to run homebrew etc)... nobody can really say how they will react to the situation. It's all guessing. It's been a few months and they've not reacted. It's weird that so much time has now passed without action being taken.
For anything else, like, 'potential' things... there might be a more of a reaction. Again, it's just guessing. And, trying to second-guess Nintendo is a bit of a futile thing imo. :toot:

If Nintendo would get hacked (their websites/servers etc)
They would respond with sending all people emails saying there was a breach.
Changing passwords would be the first and only thing end users will have to do.

Nintendo itself then ups the security and will investigate who did it.
In a few months. they might be lucky and catch the perp.
The perp then gets sued and possibly goes to jail.

This is true for every company.

The kernel exploit? Or browser hack? Either way, the question was already answered. No one is sure if Nintendo even will respond, but as of right now, they haven't yet. Nintendo doesn't really care about its Wii line of products right now. They'll probably do some sort of firmware update at the Wii U's end of life to attempt to "snuff" out exploits. But if we can get some homebrew development rolling now, and knowing Nintendo's past attempts to patch exploits in the Wii, they will probably half-ass it and just cause a minor inconvenience for users / homebrewers.

The best advertisement for a hack would be to admit it happened,
thereby making all those kiddies google and find gbatemp.
So I rather not they admit it, or we need flooddoors installed for the moderators.
