Odd. it worked perfectly for me. Make sure you're adding 8 to whatever the first digit was. if it was 2, set it to a. if it was 0, set it to 8

I did, everything works fine but as soon as I boot up the skill list the game crashes, probably has something to do with the skills on the palico.

After looking through the palico's save structure, it does seem like every palico has a unique ID for themselves but not unique in terms of every single one of them is different than each other, they can share the same ID but they usually point to this specific palico with specific skill sets etc., or I could be wrong.
DLC palicos seems to start from 100 and above.

what goes on your SD is a save manager like JKSM

is their instructions with the downloads or like a video on how to do this?
I had a hard time with Homebrew. I have a hunch that I will have a bit of a difficulty with this too.

the 'color codes' are hexadecimal representations of the levels of red, green, blue, and alpha (transparency, but in this case affects something else). for example, FF0000FF will be red, 00FF00FF will be green, 0000FFFF will be blue and combinations will make other colors, like FF00FFFF for purple and FF8800FF for orange.

are you referring to 0x5f?

Here's a modified export of the reward (DLC type) palico 'Caligold'. All bytes that I know the function of have been 0'd out (ofc some were already 0).
for comparison, I added a blanked out version of a hired cat 'Jam'. Again all known bytes were 0'd out to make finding unknown ones easier.

Yeah at 0x5F, the DLC palicoes that I've seen so far start from 100 and above but the normal hired palicoes start from 0 - 10, or more.

The trigger that unlocks HR is talking to the Guild Manager in the Hub (the old lady sitting on a pad near the entrance). try talking to her several times in case there's other dialogue that was somehow queued before the unlock message.

Yea i already talked to her , thats why i was 31 she took off my limiter , but when i play online after modify my items drop me to rank 7 and i never modify any value from HR or HRP , guess is a signal from capcom xD

Edit in the items you need and then craft it normally. Editing in weapons can cause your game to crash if you don't know what your doing.

Did you buy Smilebasic when it was still on the e-shop? Judging from your comment, sounds like you just downloaded the Smilebasic exploit and put it in your sd card hoping it will show up in your homemenu. That's not how it works. Do you have any other games like Freaky forms or The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time?

You don't press enter. Pressing any button closes it. You drag and drop the .catz ontop of the .exe. There's a screen shot next to the dl on the first page
