My sysnand is on 9.2 and my emunand is currently on reinand 10.7.0-32. I know how to use homebrew and emunand, I've had the system for like 4 months now learning how to use it and about the functions. That's the main reason I have waited to install a9lh, I wanted to be comfortable with the different options. Now I want to switch but I know that with the emmunand setup I don't need to do parts 1-3 of the guide, but what I'm not sure of is where to start in part 4.

I am sure the person who had it before you made it this far but just make a NAND backup before you do anything okay? Make one of sysnand and emunand with emunand9 before starting okay? And ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU CAN TELL THEM APART. That is very important.

Alright, thanks for the help. I was pretty sure that was where I would start but wanted to make sure, so I didn't mess anything up. I'll just go and switch my cfw to luma now and back up my saves before following the guide.

Don't forget to back up NAND as well.

First back up sysnand and emunand. Then copy all the stuff to the computer. After you do that you can start. I recommend reading part three to be safe, is better to understand things and do it to experience it better. So you don't mess up anything.

Well, got it as a present already set up with menuhax, up until then my experience with all of this was nada. So even though I have done some research I'm not really sure of how to do the switch.

Is there a flashcart that makes booting .nds possible? If so, what do you guys recommend?

Does sploit_installer_oot3dhax works with 11.0 ? I've been trying to get oot3dhax working but for some reason my 3DS crashes & reboots each time I try to use it.
I'm using a 11.0E a9lh-enabled n3DS w/ Luma (no firmware.bin).

Since you have a9lh and I assume no Emunand, all you have to do is copy everything from the smaller sd card to the bigger sd card and put the SD card in your 3ds. Couldn't be easier.
To update your CFW I suggest installing the Star Updater; https://github.com/astronautlevel2/StarUpdater/releases
To update your system you go to system settings -> system update and you're done.
I recommend making a nand backup using hourglass9 and a sd back up every month (depending on how often you play, if you play a lot I suggest every two weeks or even every week to make sure that if you mess up, you don't lose too much).

Online gaming is no problem since you're using cia files and they have their own private header so to speak. No bans on cia's have been reported unless you were cheating, in which case you got banned for cheating. Access to the Eshop is no issue unless you have a region changed n3ds but seeing as you don't have that, you can use the Eshop just fine. Be warned though that installed cia DLC will get removed when you visit the Eshop. If you bought a theme from the store before they will also get removed (IIRC). Best use freeshop for the games and CHMM2 for the themes though

if you plan on hacking the 2DS, you should do this before you transfer.

if you're not going to hack it(at least before transferring), well I'm not sure why but basehaxx should still work.

if you transfer now it will be on 11.0. you're transferring from a system with custom firmware. if you want to keep that, set up the 2DS with it before you move anything.

So, question about the FBI Health and Safety Injection process. Is the FBI H&S.app interchangable between consoles or do I have to back up HS.app for every console? I'm doing a few systems and would like to know.
