ROM Hack Are we still using ARCodes?

Hello guys! Last time I was around was at the beginning of the year, and ARCodes were the fastest and easiest way to cheat (and for free).
Since I'm back and I discovered that using emuNAND is in the past (just finished installing a9lh) I wanted to know if ARcodes are still that way to go or if anything changed.
Also, if ARCodes are still the best way to use codes, is it safe to downgrade my browser in a9lh? Is the process any different?

Look for BootNTR (i use BootNTR selector. it comes with 3 NTR versions) Then look around for plugins for the game you want to cheat it. There are a lot currently in development.

Here's an ACNL plugin that we've been developing for quite a while now

There's also a lot of Save editors and translations and Pokemon ROM hacks scattered about the "3DS - ROM Hacking" section in GBATemp

3.2 is the most stable but has problems with some plugins. 3.3 I think adds more options, and then 3.4 uses screen capture
