Homebrew Need some help with smashhax

okay so I'm getting two new 3ds xl mhgen in a couple days to downgrade and install a9lh and luma. The question I could never seem to get an answer from anyone is, is it possible to use the wifi adapter in a laptop to perform smashhax? Or is it only with USB adapters?

I'm not totally sure, but I think the only requirement is that it can enter monitor mode to send packets.
Not all network devices can do this so you just have to try it out.

Thanks for the info. Also that auto smashhax thing for Linux. Does it auto set them in that mode when it runs or do you have to do that manually?
