I'm about to scrub my gateway emunand and wanted to export my savegames to later import into A9LH/Luma CFW on sysNAND. I've tried this in the past with SaveDataFiler and it caused me to lose the Pokemon Shuffle save so now I'm looking at svdt but I have no idea how to use this tool. I'm running it from the homebrewlauncher (installed as a cia) in my emuNAND and when I load it up I can't do much till I hit (B) then I get a >>> cursor, if I point to an empty folder on the right hand column and then press (Y) I get

! Error writing file.
[result code c8804471]
svdt has encountered an error, and has
halted to protect your data. Press
[START] to exit.

this comes up 5 times in Red, white, pink, yellow, red

Edit: I may getting ahead of myself, It seems that there's an input for A/B to enable to disable secure value writing, I'm guessing I push A? It seems to save a file to :\\svdt with the name of the game, so that's the export process? How will I do the import after?

Edit2: I think I have got it... Just tested with another game and was able to delete/restore a savegame. I'm kinda scared to try it with pokemon shuffle though. How will I know if it will work?

Off-topicish, but try deleting the secure value in savedatafiler (R+X) then restore the save file for Pokemon Shuffle.

Secure Values arent related to saves per say. Deleting it would more likely make him lose progress since it stores tiny info about the save, Usually its there to prevent people from importing other peoples saves (100% saves etc). Deleting it wouldnt make it able to be exported/not exported.

What? https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/Anti_Savegame_Restore Also, I just tested this on my own shuffle save file. I "corrupted" it by restoring an older backup, having it create a new save file, then restored again but deleted the secure value...

You must of read my comment wrong, Deleting Secure Values lets you backup games fine bypassing Anti-Measures, But it doesnt do anything for Exporting, The issue the OP had with exporting must be from a Firmware issue or something he did incorrect. Deleting Secure Values pretty much only let you import saves, It doesnt change anything when exporting.

Yea what I was failing to realise is that when you open the program it automatically generates a backup of the save on the selected title, without user interaction. So by me trying to perform a backup I was actually doubling up. I was able to import all my saves (aside from Kirby which isn't supported)
