That is literally the worst option ,as getting a hardmod and installing a9lh comes in the end cheaper and more reliable than a flashcard that gets you banned online

Depends if you know a trusted hardmod in your country.
There can also go something wrong I think.

That probably won't happen for a few years. You'd need an arm9 exploit to downgrade 11.0. At that point, the only firmware you'd need to downgrade to is 2.1.

Don't use Gateway, that will brick you when upgrading.
