I am getting beyond frustrated with Pkhex. I try to export my save back to the SD card and I get unhandled exception error(write protected media). Then I try to export the save file to a different folder, and it says it saves but when I go to the folder, nothing is there. Yet it shows up from within the app when I go to open a file. I have no idea what to do. I appreciate any help .

Edit: And I only get the write protected media error from Pkhex. I can otherwise edit the contents of the SD card no problem.

Right click on the file,
select properties,
under the tab "general", near the bottom, there should be an unblock button.
I tried but the setting does not save. I see that the read-only box is filled but I have no clue how to get rid of it. Clicking the box again and trying to save doesn't work, if I open the properties again, read-only is filled again. I have full permissions on my computer so I have no idea how to get rid of this.

you did extract it out from the zip folder, right?
It sounds like it's still in a rar or zip or something.

for starters, try having it on your desktop.

It's not in a ZIP. I noticed that all of my folders are read-only. Even if a I create a brand new one, it's stuck in read-only. I am using a laptop that already had Windows 10 when I bought it brand new last year. I have been searching but I haven't found a solution that has worked to fix this issue.

Yeah, it seems like its your com's problem, since everything is stuck as read-only.

This seems like your problem: http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/windows-10-read-only-problem-has-a-solution/
