Hacking Otp File recovery?

Hey i have updated my a9lh fork to the one that boots the small cfw from aurora, here's my problem
i wanted to do the same for my girlfriend but i kinda not sure if i ever replaced her a9lh folder on her sd card. if i ever did that from mine that would mean i also overwrote the otp file and i don't really want to risk that, so is ther any tool that could get me another otp file since she already has a9lh running, or will i have to downgrade to 2.1 again to get a fresh one?

Yes. There is no tool which will retrieve the OTP even from 9.2.

You will have to downgrade to 2.1 to get the OTP again ;-; it happened to me too.

Just downgrade to 9.2, uninstall A9LH, do menuhax and continue with the guide from there

she has 9.2 sysnand and 11 emu, but since we can boot sd-card less now i have transfered mine to sysnand 11.0 a9lh, thats what i wanted to do for her, btw, if i check my otp file + the one that is on her sd card, it does not match, so would that mean that the otp files are two different ones? or can two copys of the same file have different md5's?

It would mean they are different. But would they work on her 3DS? I think it's better to redo the process just to be sure. Better safe than sorry ^~^

No. If they are the same size but have different content then the md5 cannot be the same.

Do i acctually need a otp file just to upgrade a a9lh fork? could i just run safeupdater without a otp files present?

I don't believe you need OTP for an A9LH update. I've done updates in the past w/o it.

If you have A9LH v1 right now(haven't updated it) to update to v2 you don't need OTP

You only need the OTP for the first installation, after that, it's not needed anymore

perfect so i just need to make sure that i delete the otp file from the a9lh folder =),what files to i need i have lot's , firm0 firm1 payload_stage1 payload_stage2 secret_sector,

All the ones you cited, and it's good, so:
- firm0.bin
- firm1.bin
- secret_sector.bin
- payload_stage1.bin
- payload_stage2.bin

Warning, use the ones from the `data_input_v2.zip` folder

Don't worry, if it's the wrong otp file the installer will detect it and won't continue
When you use SafeA9LH it does some security checks before proceeding for people in your case

This is assuming he has the latest software and not using software from weeks / months ago.
