What's the best IOS to install WADs to? I installed all >300+ WiiWare games to IOS249, half give me a black screen. How can I fix this?
I'm using emunand with WiiFlow

What emunand system version do you have? Did you dump your nand or build it?I use 249 and USB GX.... works like a charm!
I think the easiest thing to do is to have USB Loader GX do everything. If you have the loader create your emunand and install all your wads then you at least know it was done in a way that USB Loader GX would recognize. Not saying using ShowMiiWads is bad. Just that I think using the Loader is better.Yes I'm having the same issue. I used ShowMiiWads to install a bunch of games to the emunand I made with USB GX. Some load, many do not.
Once you have your emunand working you can set up neek2o. I created a guide in another post using ModMii. Just follow what I wrote there and you should be good to go. https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/page-1075#post-5929568I also tried to install the neek2o setup for loading the problematic N64 titles, but many of those freeze the console and black screen with that option turned on in the game load menu.
Yeah, once you have a lot of games installed it does take a long while to boot. Shouldn't be overly long though. Like maybe a minute or 2.Also, after installing that many games, the loading of the backup loader is slow – probably due to all the assets.
This part of your syscheck is what's important. You have d2x-v9beta installed in slot 249 with base 80. It should be d2x-v8 with base 56. And in slot 250, I don't know what CIOS you have installed but whatever it is it is base 37 and it should be 2dx-v8 with base 57. When it comes to updating d2x I always wind up getting help from @Cyan . He has a pack that he put together that has worked great for me. I tried searching for it but can't find it. Since I tagged him in this post hopefully he will respond with a link to his pack. Once you get those CIOSes updated you should have no problem playing your games.IOS249[80] (rev 21009, Info: d2x-v9beta(r49)): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[37] (rev 20, Info: rev 20): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
Thank you @Cyan . I really appreciate your quick response. I'll try not to loose this link this time.
@kid sampson , let me know when you are ready to update your IOSes and I can walk you through the install.
