I am a man of common sense. He already had menuhax setup on 9.2. No where else in his post did he mention any entry point other than browserhax.

With this information it is safe to assume that he used browserhax to setup menuhax on 9.2.

You are correct; he could not have set up menuhax without another exploit, which we can only assume to be browserhax. I believe @Lordsble should maybe give a little more information?

This means OP cannot use browserhax anymore, bececause he effectively has no browser. This has nothing to do with the browser-version-check. If OP cannot get menuhax working using my above advice, the only option will be to use a game exploit.

EDIT: Also, anyone that updates their sysnand to 9.9 and then mentions updating it again to 11.0 when they have a perfectly good emunand probably does not know exactly what they are taking about. In this case dummy browser = browser version check.

The dummy browser problem and the browser version check problem are two different problems.

The gamecard v9.9 sysupdate included with some games contains a dummy Old3DS/New3DS web-browser. The *only* thing this title does is display the same message listed in the above forced-update section. The message files in RomFS *only* contain that message string above. There are no "http" strings in the main codebin, and RO isn't used either(no CRO data in RomFS at all). Both browsers are internally called "dummySpider".

Hence, if you update your system from pre-v9.9 using a gamecard with v9.9, the system web-browser will be rendered *completely* useless until you install a system-update from CDN(no network requests involved here).

Yeah, it didn't work, but I found my OoT3D and I can use my sister's broken 10.3 3DS XL and I have a spare SD Card so I'll use those.

Thank you for clearing things up. Maybe @Lordsble can update the browser to a less than 11.0.0 version with a game cartridge? Using 3dsdb to find the version of the 3DS firmware said game would install.

Gamecards don't include browser updates, with the exception of the dummy browser update.

Could you be a little more specific? When you power on the 3DS with the SD card in the SD slot but before you replaced the menuhax payload, what happened? When you powered on with the new payload, what happened?

A few quick notes:

1. Don't mess with your theme, just in case we can get menuhax working. I would hate for you to accidentally clear menuhax when we could have used it.
2. What is your boot.3dsx? If it's Luma3DS or another CFW, it's not going to work on 9.9. Replace it with the Homebrew Launcher boot.3dsx if you haven't already.
3. How many times did you try? Menuhax is notoriously unstable.

Once you get downgraded to 9.2 and get menuhax, I would say to switch to cakesfw. My friend had the exact same problem as you (o3ds, luma3ds, 11.0 emunand, no a9lh, local multiplayer not working) and I switched him to cakes and behold, his multiplayer worked again with me (n3ds, reinand), my other friend (o3ds, cakes a9lh) and another 3ds he had (o3ds, no hax 11.0) Here is The release page of cakes. As long as you still have your emunand/rednand, cakes will automatically detect it and you won't have to reinstall your games

If OP somehow gets downgraded to 9.2, I doubt he will be messing with sysNAND ever again. The whole point of CFW and emuNAND, as I'm sure he's realizing, is to never ever touch sysNAND again. That way, these things don't happen.

Personally, I recommend Luma3DS as a CFW. I would recommend A9LH in conjunction with Luma3DS (instead of menuhax), but that might be too advanced for someone who thought it would be okay to update sysNAND to 9.9.

I may be wrong on such a subject, but wouldn't it make conflicts when downgraded EmuNAND/RedNAND to 2.1.0? Seeing as 11.0.0 can not be downgraded without a NATIVE_FIRM patch (is it possible to do that with an EmuNAND?).

Wut? TWL_FIRM is the DS(i) firmware on the 3DS. It's patched to disable sigchecks of DSiWare.
Luma3DS patches both emu- and sysNAND to enable downgrading and reintroduce svcBackdoor.
