it could run just fine actually. witcher 3 isn't exactly that demanding. especially on the lower settings.

Oh, okay. I do all of my PC gaming on a gaming computer, so I don't really know how well things work on older computers.

Heh. You could look at my system specs in my sig. But I never really cared, I just get games when they are on sale on those steam sales. Probably have only ever played a small amount of all those games. Including the Witcher games.

But anyways. Back on topic. OP has been "defragging" with Defraggler, which knows not to defrag SSDs. So by sheer dumb luck, he hasnt messed up anything.

Even so, just from the way he's speaking, I have a feeling he didn't get a very good computer. If we were talking about the absolute best computer you could get at that time, then yeah, it'd certainly be able to play most newer games with decent quality. Although I can't say the same about those $300 "gaming laptops" they sell at BestBuy.

If he's someone who cares about video games, he would've gotten a good computer 4 years ago and wouldn't need to upgrade now.

Lol. Seriously? Anyways, I like to do unconventional things with my rig, such as using ESXi, and Nvidia cards want me to drop money on "specialized" cards just to pass-through a GPU.

Anyways, all the other rigs I've built for my brothers have Nvidia GPUs as they don't have weird configs. But whatever.

Edit: I'd also like to add that apart from my needs for a pass-through capable card, I also wanted to help AMD, since they've been struggling in the GPU department, and NVIDIA is slacking with the dominance they have, but whatever.

Not sure what you mean by that, Intel + AMD is just as common as Intel + NVIDIA, and it works just as well.
