Alright, so I hit a snag in the A9LH installation, particularly the 2.1.0 downgrade prepping: OTP Helper refuses to open via HBL in this step

I've spent half an hour trying to figure out why this happens or if it's been reproduced somewhere, but I seriously need sleep and can't keep looking for it.

Any suggestions would be wonderful!

If you are tired and sleepy, then I'll be honest, your files are probably not in the right place. Would you double check them to make sure they are in the correct places?

I double checked, even with the guide enhancement checklist (browser plugin on the guide).

Assuming the files mentioned in step 2 and step 3 are all in their correct locations. How many times have you tried launching it then? The black screen is normal, as it can happen due to how unstable Menuhax can be on some systems.

Edit: And yeah that AGE plugin is nice, used it while drunk and having late night girl talks with my cousin.

I've tried launching about 15 times or so. Would using ninjhax provide a better success rate?

You have ninjhax? Try it with that. Sometimes on some consoles, I'd have better success with that.

Can you post pictures of your SD Card as well as the files inside the 3DS folder?

Hmmm, everything looks fine. I'd hate to recommend this, but could you try v0.87 of OTPHelper.

I was hesitant to try that, but I guess I'll try that in the morning and report back with what happens

you could downgrade but the best choice is to actually update to 9.2.0-20: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(rxTools-MSET)

you don't really want to go down to 4.x anymore - nobody really supports that these days

I did mention that you don't need to worry about going to 9.2 because 9.0 is identical in pretty much all cases

no you will not lose anything if you switch custom firmwares. you can use "EmuNAND" in place of "RedNAND" if you don't want to re-format the SD card for it.

Put Decrypt9.nds from the Decrypt9 zip on your DS flashcard
Start your DS flashcard from your 3DS? Do I have to first work my ds flashcard? then past the Decrypt9.nds file on it?

i bougth another 3ds (old one this time) and to my suprise its on 6.2.0-12E.

Is there any guide how i can put on luma3ds on this? I assume i have to upgrade to 9.2?

i dont wanna mess it up so i hope someone has a guide for me

Plailect's A9LH guide, has a pretty good section for this, with what you would need to do on whatever version you are on and whatever browser you have.

Put Decrypt9.nds from the Decrypt9 zip on your DS flashcard
Start your DS flashcard from your 3DS
Go to SysNAND File Options, then select the Dump Health & Safety option to dump Health & Safety to hs.app
Press Select to eject your SD card, then put it in your computer
Extract Universal Inject Generater, then copy both hs.app from your SD card and FBI.cia from the FBI zip to the input folder
Double click go.bat

Look for SysNAND Options in Decrypt9. It is the third option. After that you are in the Sysnand options and here you should select Health&Safety Dump.
