Well, I'm afraid there is no way to downgrade yet. Only time will tell.

That is not entirely true. There is a way to downgrade on 11.0. But only using a hardmod, no software downgrading (yet). Just putting it out there for the people who don't want to wait for a downgrade method to be discovered. Only time will tell when this will be discovered and released. For all I know, someone could release it tomorrow. But then again, it took almost 2 years (Don't pin me on that though) to be able to downgrade after 4.x.

You inject the Native Firm from an older firmware if my memory serves, allowing you to downgrade. But that's just what I remember, I could be wrong, so you should wait for somebody more informed if you want a proper explanation :P

^Correct.

You make a backup of 11.0 via hardmod, patch Native Firm with 10.7 patches, write patched NAND back, proceed with downgrade.

Thats awesome xD, first time ive heard about it, i have a question... is it obligatory to install a native firmware of 10.7 or isn't it possible to install a 9.2 native firmware directly? o.o im sorry for bothering xD this method is actually pretty interesting

I don't remember the exact details of why it's done like this, but this is the method. Once it's been patched though, you downgrade to 9.2 like normal. Because of the hardmod being installed, there is no reason to worry about bricking, because you can fix it with no issues.

We're lucky we can even touch NATIVE_FIRM directly from a computer. With the current publicly known methods, we cannot decrypt a NAND.bin directly through a computer: We must first ask the 3DS to do it for us, or at least ask the 3DS to generate something called an "Xorpad," which basically serves as a password to decrypt/re-encrypt the NAND.

While it's decrypted, only then can we reasonably mod it, like if we wanted to replace all the 11.0 firm files with the 9.2 ones. Unfortunately (and yet thankfully), we can only modify NATIVE_FIRM via hardmod.
