Hacking Emunand9 wont start after downgrade

Hello,

I have succesfully downgraded my new 3ds to 9.2 however booting up emunand9 from the homebrew launcher doesnt work.
I get a black screen/red screen and it goes back to the homebrew launcher.

(i am at step 23: Open EmuNAND9 (This can sometimes take a few tries) from the guide of https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-2-(Downgrading) )

I have been opening this app for 30 mins now without succes, so i really hope someone has an idea how to get it to work

You most likely have an incomplete downgrade, you can fix this by rerunning the downgrade (it will probably only say that it downgraded NFIRM which is fine)

Did it SAY sucessfully, when you downgraded? or are you just going by the number it says?

I was just going by the number yeah.

Also you need to run emunand9 from sysnand

He doesn't even have emuNAND, so it's fairly obvious he's booting it in sysNAND

Yeah if it didnt SAY sucessfully downgraded then it probably isnt (despite the number). Im surprised the giant error message on the bottom screen didnt tell you haha.

Always keep an eye on the 3DS while writing to sysNAND. It's best to know if there was an error during such a process

The thing was i didnt get an error, it just didnt reboot after 10 seconds (Which the guide said was fine just reboot the console by hand )

So i assumed it was alright.

But lesson learned idd!

Well at the point where it says it will reboot after 10 seconds... is after a sucessful downgrade. so if it downgraded sucessfully Im not really sure what happened there. Either way sounds like you sorted it out so congrats. Good luck finishing the guide, be careful to follow all the steps exactly

There are videos on YT but they are old and get out dated quickly and don't suggest watching them. Just follow the guide to a T as its not that hard. Just go over the steps and take your time, as that is only advice to give.

Succesfully done the whole progress, took me a full day but better save then sorry.
