I understand you select a clock option when you boot luma at first, but how do you change it after that? Oh and some good games: 7th dragon runs way better, kingdom hearts doesn't lag and higher frame stability across various games.

Just hold SELECT on boot to access the config

Xenoblade and smash bros are amazing. But xenoblade is already clocked at the n3ds max speed when started.

Luigi's Mansion 2 runs very nicely with the N3DS horsepower enabled. No slowdown during the cinematics at all.

Another game I found out that HANS is a must have for is SpeedX3d, the only issue is that the bottom screen doesn't work properly with HANS so settings should be done before. without HANS this game is just a stop motion ride.

I remember getting SpeedX and being very dissappointed with it, I'll give Hans-booting it a try.

I'm curious too.

There might be a difference on pokemon or/as/x/y, but it's minimal...

Unless luma actually didn't overclock when i set it to...
I've noticed the same, as soon as the 3d comes in it just tanks. I see people talking about how it's so much better, but it seems like almost nothing. (clock + l2 Luma and with hans)

i don't use hans though, don't see the point imo, at least not for what i play on my 3ds

I don't use hans either normally, I was just using it to see if it was Luma just not working right, but no, it's just that little of an improvement.

I'm really hoping they do some work in the x/y engine for sun and moon, if the 3d is still this broken even with the n3ds advantage I don't know what to say.

EDIT, Nevermind. It makes a BIG difference in oras, in x/y it was pretty much the same. That explains it.

I teied it out with pokemon oras and MH 4. The 3D effect is a way better and tried yesterday a pikemon fight against 3 pokemons and it was smoothy as hell. Without overclock it was laghing hard for me.

On MH 4 its very very smoothy with and without 3D

Tested on the latest luma built on N3ds XL

urban trial freestyle: unplayeble without power boost, better frames better 3D

Resident Eviel Revelations: Makes me think it should be N3ds exlusive, because extra power makes it playable for me.

Triforce Heroes: Not sure if placebo, but better frames better 3D and slightly lower loading times

NTR CFW Video streaming: Someone please confirm but i think it's smoother

You can't do video streaming on ntr on o3ds, so that doesn't make sense.
