As long as I update my emuNAND and keep 9.2.0 then it doesn't matter if I update to the latest on my emuNAND right? I want to make sure.

Because I have a 2DS that I couldn't give a rat's nipple about, I updated it!
2DS: Latest AR9LH: delebile branch.
CFW: SaltRegular 1.2b LTS
Status: Working just fine! Games launch just fine. Renaming the payloads works just fine as well.
if you dont mind me asking how do you rename them in what way?

woah sir can i have that salt 1.2b lts plz

So I use CTR boot manager to go into Gateway and homebrew and such. Also CHMM which uses homebrew as well. Which means the new update would prevent this until I rename files? Which file would I rename? (Sorry I was looking through all the comments and lost the one that said which to rename).
Any help on this? I would be fine staying on 10.7 but unfortunately Monster Hunter's DLC can only be downloaded via eshop which is quite annoying...

I have not updated myself yet, so I can't confirm this, however I believe the file they were talking about is: "hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_NEW-10-7-0-32-USA.bin". Of course, it might be named somewhat differently for you depending on which version you're on. Simply rename the numbers to your current Firmware version though, and it should work.

Just simply rename the payload file for example, my payload:
"hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-10-7-0-32-USA.bin"
Renamed to
"hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-11-0-0-33-USA.bin"

Also I just updated my own personal 3DS to test out GBA games and ayyy~ they work! As does my Supercard DSonei!

As long as you backup your EmuNANDs first, (and preferably have multiple backups) you're always safe to update it. If it doesn't work, just go back to your EmuNAND backup. I would recommend making an extra backup immediately before updating, so that you can set it back to right where it was, just in case.

Using Reinand with menuhax. Has anyone verified functionality updating emunand from 10.7 to 11.0?

Appreciate this. Do we have to edit our boot.cfg files as well if we're using menuhax or no?

why is everyone rushing to update though?
I am updating for the betterment of the community. Yes, there are others who have confirmed that it's safe, but it's better to know that many have tested verses only a few.

I am running A9LH actually, with ctrbootmanager9 as my bootloader.
You don't have to edit your boot.cfg though.
