Okay, so "sleep mode"... Here are a couple of question:
1. Is it possible to disable the 3ds going into sleep mode whenever it is closed or sleep slider is activated?
2. What happens with the processor in sleep mode (underclocked, core disabled?)
3. Is it possible to play audio in sleep mode (not 3ds closed no sleep mode)
4. Is it possible to detect button input in sleep mode

This might not be of much help, but...when you try to put the 3DS into sleep mode while playing a GBA game, all that happens is the screen dims and the sound is shut off. The game is still running, and button presses are still logged, but it just looks like the system is sleeping.

But that's AGB_FIRM. It does this because the GBA didn't have sleep mode.

Well actually there is a way to do number 3 and that is to get a R4i.
That keeps the DS awake, the blue LED stays on solid.
