Hi,i'm making this topic to make a suggestion of homebrew. I wonder if someone could create a pc-98 emulator for wii u,it would be awesome, playing touhou on the tv. If someone is interested to make this dream true,i would be really happy ^^
i only know the arrays of C so i can't do a lot of things with thatDo It Yourself...
he isn't too powerfull so emulate this could easily be doneFrom what I know the PC-98 is pretty similar to an ordinary PC, so I doubt that's going to happen.
-5MHz 8086 cpu with well known opcodes on the internethe isn't too powerfull so emulate this could easily be done
he is very old
i think i'll try to make my best for the hacking community when i'll be better at programmation, it could be when the nx will be hacked, but not yet-5MHz 8086 cpu with well known opcodes on the internet
-128Kb of ram
-640x400 pixel display
-No graphic card!
It can be done, maybe even with just userspace access
Thank you! I was just looking for an emulator to base on!Well, if anyone would want to look into it but not start from scratch, Neko Project is on github. I know there is atleast a Pi port of it.

Yea, the one on Wii is also Neko Project. I'm not sure if it'd be easier to start there or from github because the Wii one is probably behind. There's a port to wii go to wiibrew and get it try googling pc 98 emulator wii. Probly should have done that before you created this topic. I think there's even a wiiflow plugin

I don't think it's a good idea starting from wii homebrew as AFAIK it use an hardware access level that wii u just doesn't have and gx libraries, that we won't be able to use from browser (That should work with the 5.3.2 kexploit thought)so it could be easy to port i think ^^ port a wii homebrew to wii u is easier than port a pc software
