Yes it is it checks to make sure your NAND dump is valid..at least that's what it did when o used it yesterdayWhat is the "Validate NAND Dump" option? I dumped my sysnand, and clicked this because I thought it was a file integrity checker, apparently it isn't...
should not be in any dir, put it in the root of your SDHey guys, I am trying to dump Health&Safety on N3DS via arm9 boot but I get slot0x25KeyX not set up error despite having this file in my decryp9 dir, anyone know whats going on? Could have sworn I had this working before?
It doesn't matter if it's on root or in a decrypt9 folder on rootshould not be in any dir, put it in the root of your SD
It can be EITHER on root OR in the Decrypt9 folder....should not be in any dir, put it in the root of your SD

sorry :/It can be EITHER on root OR in the Decrypt9 folder....
Having a decrypt9 folder lets you keep you sd card clean. Decrypt9 will dump everything to it alsosorry :/
I always used the root, for key bin files...
I did a mistake xD

I used the french format xD
You should go YYYY-MM-DD anyways so the OS properly sorts by filenames.
I agree, a name like sysNANDyymmdd.bin would be the way to go, but we don't have proper access to the system clock in ARM9 (yet?), so no can do. File dates come from the same problem.@d0k3 Why files generated by decrypt9 have strange dates? Like 31/01/2015?
For NAND backups, or very important files, it's not very good :/
D9checks all the keys it uses, so if D9 accepts them, they are good. Hold L+R at startup to pause the output and check.Okay, I moved it but still am getting the same error? I have tried other slot0x25KeyX as well?
Update; never mind, wow! There seems to be a lot of bogus slot0x25KeyX floating around now on the net! Went into a deep backup and retrieved a working slot0x25KeyX.
Wonder how I can verify my other keys are good? Are their checksums for all keys?
Well, FBI can access the clock/date, so why not D9 too?I agree, a name like sysNANDyymmdd.bin would be the way to go, but we don't have proper access to the system clock in ARM9 (yet?), so no can do. File dates come from the same problem.

Because d9 is launched long before the system loads anything. They work in 2 totally different ways.Well, FBI can access the clock/date, so why not D9 too?
I changed the default build goal to bootstrap, which might have been a unpopular decision. You need to run 'make brahma' to build the .3dsx / .smdh now, also try 'make release' while you're at it. I might change the default build goal back later, unsure.@d0k3
Is it possible that the last decrypt9wip build from git doesn't create a decrypt9wip.3dsx and decrypt9wip.smdh?
Thanks for the infoI changed the default build goal to bootstrap, which might have been a unpopular decision. You need to run 'make brahma' to build the .3dsx / .smdh now, also try 'make release' while you're at it. I might change the default build goal back later, unsure.
