they should be changed in Leo121s build to the correct or near correct time.
Yeah, in some of his builds I noticed that, but the last one he posted doesn't seem to be correct.
I'm trying to get a Animal Crossing New Leaf Save to work, but it tells me that it was not the last data saved. It does this on all of Leo121's builds. I'm not sure if it does the same on the nightly builds.
I can tell that Citra's Date and Time is off because in Animal Crossing, the title screen has it at night time and there is snow everywhere. Also if you start a new game it says that the current date and time is Jan 1st 2012 at 12:00 a.m. just like the nightly builds.

I apologize cause I forgot to mention that I left out the commits for system time. The PR for system time doesn't work right away and required me to edit some lines of code for it to work. I was hoping to wait for some more progress to be done on system time and I got lazing merging. If people want it, then I'll put it in whenever I release my next build.

No problem. I didn't know that you had put something extra in to make the time and date work.
By the way, why dose ACNL get stuck at the train station in your builds, when in the nightly builds it can get past that?

you have to set time to day, even then it is fairly random as the game gets tons of memory problems making buildings, NPCs, dissapear.

That's why I was trying to get a save file to work, so that I could see how much of the game works so far. When you start a new game, even if you find your way to the Town Hall, it seems like it won't let you enter it. It is because of that that I've been unable to save the game and why I'm not sure about what can be done at the current level of emulation. If I could load a save that is past the opening moments of play, I might find that, although you can't see anything, there might still be some things that work. I don't expect to be able to play this game, or any others, for a while on Citra, but I do like testing what can be done.

pls can you give the emulator that you used
Oh my God. You've already quote his build. You gotta need extra files from it.

Anyways, @KillzXGaming , any luck on fixing my problem? I can still have fun playing MK7 and NSMB2 on older builds. But sadly, they're all Nintendo DS graphics. :P

maybe try a save file? I have 100% saves for both games on my forum if you want!

Lets answer a few questions!
Note I am not a dev, so please correct me if inaccurate!

Why doesn't Citra work on custom builds given out?
Download latest nighties here https://citra-emu.org/ and merge the files in zip into the nighties.

Why is there custom builds?
Devs fork builds and work on them using Citra as a base, then PR things weh in a proper state.

Why doesn't the devs merge custom builds into the nighties?
Because they are incomplete and buggy. HD build has few bugs like line drawing in Pokemon, being fixed in a separate PR I believe.
CROs incomplete and will be rewritten
Audio sounds great now, still needs few missing music and likely a filter in frontend.

Why does (Insert Game here) not work?
Most games are starting to boot, make sure you have proper save file, build, and home folder.

How do you get some home folder required files?
Here (put User folder in main Citra folder)
https://www.mediafire.com/?k2okrvr50r0c5ee

Fatal error!
Sometimes you get a mode create error, you may need a save file!

Well where do I get save files?
Here!

Will Citra be pointed to Android?
Well it doesn't run full speed on PC yet and dolphin took years till it got ported, be patient or play on an actual 3ds!
Asking for release dates is pointless and will not get an accurate answer most of the time!

Edit: Unoffical WIP anroid build here! Most unimplimented stuff and won't work yet!

Will this work on 32x windows?
No! Too complex, honest easier for you to simply upgrade or get a newer PC.

Why does Citra forums have so many similar questions like this?
Lots of newbs

Why does it run so sloooowww??
Ok, big question, please correct me if i am wrong. This emulator runs off a slow interpreter which converts each instruction once at a time, however a recompiler or @MerryMage"s JIT CPU will convert this instructions in groups or many blocks at a time. Any emulator running off an interpreter is likely to run slow! Now i'd mention oh it only uses one core, honestly Cemu does too but runs fine on recompiler.

Why Cemu progressing faster?
It isn't. Citra devs are focused on compatibility, booting a large library and supporting mac, linux, ect.

Where can I find a unoffical compatibility list? Again unoffical, may include custom builds!

No gamepad support?
Use xpadder (win10 use compatibility mode) or other alternative. Citra doesn't have too many features yet.

How do I change controls?
Use this key code list and change in /user/config/qt-config.ini with notepad or text editing software

Can I support Citra somehow?
Yes you can donate here: https://citra-emu.org/page/donate

How else if i am broke :(
By testing games (on master builds and offical PRs only!)
Search for issue FIRST!

Is Wii U emulation easier than 3DS?
Noted by Neobrian on reddit, he said it is easier for the Wii U to be emulated, he even said it was easier than wii emulation.

Is Pokemon Perfect Yet?
Nope, still crashes randomly but way better than before!

Do you have a 100% save for NSMB2?

Well. I transfer my save from the CRO Build file to the Scaled Resolution with Geometry Shader and so on(Leo121's build) and I still got the error. BTW. I might gonna send my saves to your thread. But not now. I have to finish the Bowser Level first.

BTw. Any chance that a .sav(encrypted save) converts into .bin or something. I still got my backup save of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

you can't convert them but can export with JK's save manager. Downgrade your 3ds/2ds if you can and install it!

I guess an android port could be done rather fast and very efficient if citra runs on Vulkan later on as Android N uses Vulkan natively.

FINALLY some words from OP.

Last edited by Kortest,
Color palette bug for Virtual Console games fixed with latest commit to hw-tex-forwarding and I think an Android port is being done by Kloen.
Has anyone tried to compile and test the android build? I'm just wondering if it boots any games, and if so, what kind of FPS they get.

I don't even know how to compile an apk but I think it is VERY early to even try the port.
That's what I thought. I'm still interested in taking a look at it at some point though. With how old my laptop is, some times emulators run a lot better and faster on my phone. It's sad, but true. I would not be surprised if the same thing doesn't eventually happen with Citra as well.
