Hey guys so i've set up ReiNand and wanted to update my Emunand through the system setting on ReiNand - can i update to the newest software (10.7.0-32?) or is it not compatible with the newest software?.

Honestly I have no idea why 10.7 is needed. Theoretically, it shouldn't be, but I've problems arise from not using 10.7.

Yes, it would be possible to upgrade through offline CIAs if you downloaded the 10.7 update pack from the NUS.

I've been following plailect's guide, and I'm on step 5 for the AuReiNand. I just ran SafeA9LHInstaller, it said it was successfull.

But afterwards, when I turn on my system it boots almost immediately into the SafeA9LHInstaller again. If I try booting with the SD card removed, it dosen't seem to do anything, the blue light just flickers when i press the power button.

Any ideas?

Edit -nvm, seems i had the wrong armloaderhax.bin file, copied from safea9installer instead of from aurienand.

Besides, i remember that there was a step which reqires accessing eshop at least once to initialize tickets db, but there isn't in the latest version of the getting otp guide.
Is that because you can get your tickets db initialized while updating to 10.7? Can you get it though the offline updating process?

on Reinand the setting show me the 10.7 software. but the update was like done 5 seconds is the error normal?

Right now I am at a 9.2 EU n3DS with MenuHax set-up with RX-Tools EmuNAND. However, I want to make the leap to arm9loaderhax. I have read the Pailect's guide, but since it starts from scratch, I wonder exactly where I should start to minimise the risk of a brick? How should I go about this? Anyone with experience who were in the same place as me, and made the leap successfully? I just really want some instructions on how to set everything up prior to following Pailect's guide.

Mmm... I don't think that's normal...
Try again, verify your connection is healthy and see if you have any DNS configured in your connection.
If the problem keep showing, you could use another CFW like Aureinand to update and switch back if you want.

I gather that I can dump my games and create *.cia files out of them. Assuming I do that, is it possible to run them off the SD card? or do i need a flash cart? Is it even possible to run them on flash carts?

You can then use FBI to install them to your SD card.

The .3ds file can be run using a Gateway or Sky3DS

Before joining the A9LH Master Race, I had a lot of games on my Gateway, and used that. I have all these save files from GW that I want to change to saves for CIA versions, so I can keep my save files after ditching the GW.

How do I change them? I tried checking the master post there, but it was referring to putting all my saves on emuNAND and all that, and I want to put them on my CFW SysNAND, which that doesn't seem to cover.

back up your current arm9loaderhax.bin and delete the a9lh folder if you have one. copy the contents of this zip to your sd card, add your otp to the a9lh folder(i like to have it on there as another safe space to keep it), turn the 3ds on and press select to update. after it finishes and the 3ds turns off put your orig arm9loaderhax.bin back on the sd card and turnt he 3ds on
