guys,

I am new here.
I have been reading some tutorials.
But, I still do not understand clearly.

Do we need a flashcard to install CFW?
Is there a way which do not required a flashcard?

You don't need a flashcard to install CFW.

You don't need a flashcart to install cfw only 9.2 or under firmware.

Thanks for fast response guys.

@axewfious,
Is that a tutorial that allows me to dump my games to SDcard?

edit:
I do not think so. that is just a tutorial to downgrade to 9.2, right?

Just made an account. I got a Sky3ds+ yesterday and I believe I have set everything up accordingly according to this video

Now I installed the ROM for Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition. When I turn on the 3ds, I can see the logo for the game, and I can click on it, so then it attempts to start the game. After a message talking about initializing, I then get another message that pops up and says

"Could not detect an SD Card. Please turn the power off, and then reinsert the SD Card."

So im not sure what I have done wrong here. I notice if I take the micro sd card out of the Sky3ds+, then put it in the left side of the 3ds, it acts like the SD card is there when I activate the camera, so I assume the 3ds knows it exists when its put there, but when I put it in the sky3ds+, it doesnt detect it. Am I supposed to have 2 different SD cards to put in both places?

Im not sure if its due to a bad ROM or anything, since I tried 2 different ROMS of the same game I believe, and both got me the same message. I havent tried it on another game though, so not totally sure. If anybody could help, Id appreciate it

The sd card in the 3ds is for installed games, extra data and saves. The one for the sky is for games in it and their saves. You need 2 different sd cards

LOL. I was surprised that no one has registered with that name.

I would like to install games into my 3DS.

Is that the correct tutorial to follow?
Yes it will get you to cfw. You can stop after part 3 if all you want is menuhax and cfw. A9lh is a much better exploit/entry point than menuhax.
