Yes it will get you to cfw. You can stop after part 3 if all you want is menuhax and cfw. A9lh is a much better exploit/entry point than menuhax.

You can downgrade with your current 3ds just fine. The only way to downgrade 10.6 is with cubic ninja, oot+powersaves(or another 3ds that's already hacked to install the exploit), or a sky3ds with cubic ninja rom

Aureinand has built in region free so just use that cfw when it asks u

My SNES games have all become very slow. I don't know how or why this is. It happens with both injected and eShop. Does anybody know what's wrong? I've tried with Super Mario World, EarthBound, and Tetris Attack...

Also, may be related, attempting to boot NTR will always end up with an error.

Are you using aureinand 5.0? If so make sure clock+L2. Or have the option off.

Okay! I am using AuReiNand.
How do I do that?
Edit: Nevermind! I figured it out. I had to hold select while booting the system and I could enable Clock+L2 there.

hmm..before downgrading , when I entered this to the browser http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php
and confirmed, the screen would be flashing.
it will give me access to homebrew launcher.

Now, after successful downgrading to 9.2, when I visit that page again, nothing happen, not even a flashing screen.

Ah browser hax. Try deleting the temp file on your sd card and clearing the browser data. I think the file is called webtemp or webkittemp something like that(been a long time since I had to use browser hax) also try scanning the qr code instead of typing the url in

the wifi is on.
I am sure downgrade went well. it shows successful at the end of the downgrading process.
and now I can see the FW version is 9.2
