Just for Splatoon nothing special but it´s strange , a lot of maintenance and no update

fwiw all the recent maintenance over the last ~3 months has likely been to implement a more robust backend, as well as for the Miitomo launch and the Nintendo Account rollout. If the Wii U has any updates left in it, they're probably just going to be for keeping up with their network backend.
Most of their OS devs are presumably busy with NX, especially since it's been said that console is in third-party devs' hands. That's a very critical time in development for a new console OS/environment (or two). Even if it was possible/practical to report bugs to them (idk if anyone's ever succeeded in this), I wouldn't expect to see any bug fixes unless A: the exploit in question is quick (cheap) to fix, and B: the exploit is widely available.
There's no way in hell they're still doing regular security audits to Cafe OS or IOSU either, given the last significant OS update was in November 2014 and fixing bugs when the common key & ancast keys are available means literally just giving away vulnerabilities.
