I'm on 1.38 with a arm9loaderhax and updated sysnand, how would I update to the latest nightly? Do I keep the patches from the 1.38? What does the folder structure look like when it's installed correctly?

Yo, nightlies are by definition for people who know what they're doing, so if you don't, wait for a stable release.

in Config -> Select Patches
[*] Allow all DS cartridges to boot in TWL
[*] Disable signature checks in TWL

but launch the M3iZero gives error/crash -> press power ...

Did that flashcart ever work on the 3DS? Because it might require some elaborate stuff like the R4 does to load it on the 3ds.

The slot1-launcher is not necessary. The M3iZero works out of the box with the patched TWL_Firm from Aurora Wright...

It happens the same with acekard 2i when running through twl slot1 launcher. It works perfectly running aureinand 4.2 with patched twl from cfw.

yes you can. there is no risk with that

I got 158 nightly to boot but it fails when patching disable signature checks in twl and patching agb for gba games had to force restart and uncheck them for it to boot the cfw. Any known fix? I have all the files in the right directory, the cetk for agb and twl as well as the bins in cakes folder.

on second thought... first make sure that you used TinyFormat to unlink the two NANDs... and then DO IT.
