Ordered a card from these people, arrived broken, have sent them 10 emails over the last week asking for return/replacement and not had one reply........ Complete rip off.
DO NOT USE http://www.3dscarduk.com

The primary payment site is 8-shop.com, ... DO NOT USE EITHER......
Hopefully they will lose their reseller status with some card manufacturers when I have finished with them!

I will find you and I will ...............

Hmmm, I used sky3dsuk.com which uses 8-shop.com Aside from the bullshit of wow we're a UK store with UK stock it was a pleasant experience. I say bullshit because they sent my Sky3DS+ to China and Hong Kong from the UK to send it back to the UK. Pointless, supposedly to save money on P&P but I'm pretty sure it would've been cheaper to send via Royal Mail in the first place.

>buying a Sky3DS

You deserve to get scammed.
Was that really necessary?

Thanks Judas, some constructive feedback! The card they sent me also did not come from uk.
If only a reply from them and I would be happier, but unfortunately nothing.
Also sent numerous emails to 8-shop :-( complete silence.

I will not do them any good, I assure you!

I'm sorry you've had a bad experience, I will for sure be more careful about who I order from in the future. I was nervous when my order took so long to even be shipped, they said 24-48 hours to ship but it took them 4 days! £77 is a lot of money for mediocre service. But the fact my order did work out in the end and they use the same payment service as the place you ordered it from is rather suspect. If you ordered by paypal or card payment you have payment insurance at least. I don't think you have to specify what the item you bought was so it shouldn't be a legality issue to claim the money bag.

I ordered a Sky3DS+ card from these people on 15th December 2015. My "UK local Supplier", "Fast Post NOT from China".

The order price was £72 + £2 delivery.

I received an email confirming the order date as "16th December" - clearly this was sent from a time zone far East of the UK, there was meant to be a follow up email confirming tracking details - none received. I tried to ask a question about my order via the "contact us" page - which doesn't actually allow typed input. They did supply the "owner's" name and email though -"[email protected]", still not sounding too "local". All emails were ignored anyway.

The card arrived on 14th January - and it works well, I was relieved and delighted, so much so that I decided to buy another card for my daughter. The price had increased by £3 now to £75 + £2 delivery but I accepted this. The order, however, was rejected immediately (twice), turns out that this was my bank just monitoring a potentially suspicious purchase, so no real problem - until the bank said that the amount that they'd blocked was £90:22, NOT the £77 that I was attempting to pay. This £90:22 is charged right upfront - not later to cover some unforseen event (eg customs).

I checked my bank statement for the previous purchase for £72 + £2 but couldn't see it at first - but then there it was "Kabin clothes" £84:81 !

I have emailed "junychen" but as usual there is no reply. So what should one make of this? I can only find one word "fraud", if I order something for a price I don't expect to be charged a totally different price, to then hide the transaction behind Kabin clothes just confirms the type of company this is.

As a footnote I still wanted another card but looking at the shortlist of UK Resellers didn't inspire much confidence as several of them were clearly from the same group of companies as Sky3dsUK - website VERY similar, same prices, same offers, same dodgy English etc.
I looked at Digimartz and found a different style of site, the "About us" clearly states that they're based in Hong Kong so that's fine as they're upfront about it. The price was £60 with free UK delivery. I ordered 2 and received a detailed invoice which reassuringly came to the correct total!
Further emaill a few hours later confirming items are shipped and with a tracking number.
I have included this footnote just as reassurance that not all Chinese companies are the same, there's good and bad everywhere - but we don't have to accept the bad.

Thanks everyone. I hope these posts help people choose a reliable supplier in the future.
I have now had a reply from the shop and have sent the faulty card back, awaiting reply and waiting for a good one to be sent together with refund of postage and........
They also overcharged my card by £3.06. I am also "discussing this them"!
I assure you they will not get away with this.... Will update further soon......

In the meantime.... DO NOT USE THEM!

I assure you, they will pay!

Hey Romnerd, sorry to hear you're having issues! I actually bought both my Sky3DS and Sky3DS= from these guys. I had to return my blue button as it broke. They were initially reluctant to swap it but once I brought up the Sales of Goods act (the customer has the right to return a faulty item which is not fit for sale within 6 months of purchase and receive a full refund) they changed their tune. You're right though, they don't ship from the UK, the ship from China to the UK and then ship it on to you.

If you need any help writing emails, feel free to message me.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Also, that's sucks!!! I used modchipcentral, the buying experience was awesome. They emailed me everyday with updates on my purchase.

Indeed Modchipcentral is my go to place when ordering such goodies :) Sure I freaked out when I never got an tracking but it came 7 days later and its been working perfectly the past year and so months now :)

I've used them before, despite what these websites claim, often they're shipping stock from China and have unpredictable shipping or response times. Actually, today is a public holiday in China so they might be off and not responding to recent messages. They tend to be quite bad at communication.

Its the same stuff at the end of the day. All sites like modchip central are doing is importing in bulk and then prechecking the devices before shipping them on to you locally from the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Oz, wherever. Obviously you pay them a premium for providing that service though.

Issues like this is why I always use paypal if the site is anything but a well known reputable site. You get peace of mind with your banking details being safer and customer support can step in with issues like this if communication breaks down.
