Really quick Code::Block C++ question

I'm using a guide that basically is a bit outdated:http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/introduction/codeblocks/ and its telling me to set it to C++11 when correct me if im wrong C++14 is newer so what should i do?

You should buy a good c++ book, start from the very very basic and stop thinking about c++11 or c++14 which are things obscure even to a lot of really skilled developers, so why bother.

super humble suggestion: the tutorial, the question about c++14, are all signals of you approaching the learning process with the wrong attitude. Buy (or download) a book, follow it and start questioning it after you learned something, not before.
