I'm trying to get the smash bros dlc. I already have bought the dlc but I'm 5.3.2 firmware. Is there a way to get it?

Yeah if you bought it on the same wiiu, and somehow uninstalled it. It's just in the update. Update the game via wupinstaller on the wiiu you bought the dlc and it should pop back up.

Actually I bought a new wiiu for 5.3.2 and traded in my old one. I did delete everything on the old one though.

However if you have already paid for it on your old wii u you won't be able to download it through the eshop again even with eshop fix and spoof UNTIL you call Nintendo and have them do a system transfer. You'll have to buy it again unless you do a system transfer

Seriously? Even though I technically deleted everything. Will a system transfer update my wiiu? Sorry I'm a noob at this.

Are you trying to ask how you can manually install DLC using something like WUP installer? In that case, we here at GBATemp can't help you, because that's piracy.

EDIT: I mean paid DLC. Free DLC is different.

A system transfer will not update your wii u. It just allows you to access the nintendo ID where you purchased all your stuff. I had to do the same thing. I just told them that my old wii U broke and they were very helpful. After that and after I spoofed I was able to download everything from eshop that I had already purchased on another Wii U.

He never said he was trying to get free DLC. In the OP he says that he already paid for it.

If you buy something on Wii U #1 using XXX nintendo ID, you cannot redownload anything on Wii U#2 until you do a system transfer. Hacked or not hacked.

So in your case I had to do the following:

1. Call Nintendo and ask them to do a system transfer from old Wii U to the new Wii U using your Nintendo ID
2. Spoof your firmware on Wii U #2 to current firmware (5.5.1 as the time of this post)
3. Run the eshop fix (NNU patcher)
4. Open eshop using old Nintendo ID and redownload all your stuff.
5. Profit

I wonder if I can do a system transfer with this method, although using the buit-in app instead of calling Nintendo? I mean, considering there's no Nintendo support where I live.
