ROM Hack Pokemon OR/AS model swap

Does anyone know why when I swap the RED model for Branden that I downloaded here, it shows up correctly in the OW and Battles when I play as May, but if I play as Branden it doesn't show up in the OW at all.....

It's about the filenames, then.

I renamed it the same name it was in the GARC "dec_172.154". The swap works fine if I play as May but not as Branden, I deleted the original Branden model but it still shows him instead of Red when I choose to be a boy.

No problem but it only works when I play as May..... When I try to BE Red he still shows up as Branden. I downloaded the models/textures from a thread on here but couldn't find it again.
