latest .cia nightly: RetroArch [Info] :: port dir: [sdmc:/retroarch/], nothing is loading. I already deleted the retroarch.cfg, what can I do to fixx this issue?

What on earth happened to CatSFC+? The latest stable build struggles to reach 60fps on almost every game I try! (With no video filters enabled, and on N3DS of course...)

I'm really starting to hate gPSP. When I run it looking for it to lock up or crash my N3DS, the core runs just fine. And then when I actually want to play it, THEN it locks up or crashes. And it seems I'm the only one with this problem. I'm using 10.7 Reinand, with gPSP as a .cia.

You're definitely not the only one.

Based on this thread history, it's an issue that's dated back for the past couple of months, but only some users (a9lh users perhaps?). Others have confirmed that it works fine for them and I couldn't fix it by reverting to stable builds. It's frustrating because it seems like everyone is using the native emulator by injecting, but what if I don't want to mess with my sysNAND? What if I like save states and the turbo button? GPSP is so much better than the native emulator, and I don't have to have a million home screen icons.

Hope someone can fix it sometime soon.

It's certainly not just a9lh users, because I hacked my N3DS just before a9lh became a thing, and I'm still too scared to downgrade further considering the immense amount of trouble I've had downgrading both my O3DS and my N3DS in order to get the otp for a9lh. I could use mGBA, but it doesn't perform as well through .cia as people think it does, even on a N3DS.

Would it be possible for someone to compile the Reicast core in a CIA format? I know it would probably suffer major slowdown and probably only be functional on New 3DS, but the idea of portable Dreamcast with a built in controller? That would be incredible. Even a link on how to compile RetroArch cores would be helpful.

I don't know what I did, but retroarch completely broke. I deleted the config and renamed the retroarch dir, but the controls won't work at all. Any tips?

Please someone help me?

I'm in the same boat, hopefully I won't have to resort to arm9loader, i'm perfectly comfortable with emunand.

I am still having trouble getting ANY Neo Geo games running.

I assume I have to use the ROMs from the proper FBA ROMSET, correct? I have the ROMSet, how do I separate the Neo Geo games from the CPS1/2/others in the set?

Also what is fb_alpha_libretro.cia for? Does that load ALL FBA games from the romset including CPS1/2/Neo Geo? Is there a way to separate the games this supports out from the rest of the romset like I'm assuming I have to for Neo Geo?

I was able to get CPS1/2 emulation going by moving the files over by hand, but the rest is too much, how are you guys accomplishing this?

Thanks

Guys,

im going to hack my 3ds tonight .. do you think i can run snes ok on o3ds with catsfc?
