Is there any other way this could work without the layeredfs plugin? I can't get it to work because I couldn't get decrypted exefs.bin from HB according to this thread (https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-decrypt-extract-rebuild-3ds-roms.383055/)

Nah, you can capture her in paralogues, but that gives her the shield icon, and if you've noticed, none of the units this patch gives you have the shield icon, which is the reason why it was done, for a friend's patch so she could give them supports and stuff.

I tried adding them without removing the other My Castle Join Units and it kept crashing, although it's probably because I was missing some pointers.

Interesting, I'll have to compare and see what pointers I was missing, as I'm sure that's what was causing them to not work.

Edit: Yeah, I missed quite a few pointers, mine has 0xB units with 0x22 pointers while your has 0xA but with the same amount of pointers, haha.

Got it working, i found them recruited, tho, I wanted to fight the amiibo units, but well, at least is something.

u can use the code and go to find enemy. Then pay for a challenge and win that i suggest the first one cause its the easiest

All right, since there aren't any clear tutorials, is basically what DeathChaos said:

1 - Install NTR CFW 3.3
2 - Choose the folder of the game (FE fates usa) and extract both folders (plugin, castle) on the root of the SD card
3 - Run NTR CFW
4 - And finally, play the game, make sure that you get a "Green screen" before starting the game.

Now, this may fail or not, so you'd want to try it several times until you get it working, you don't have to access "Amiibo" in order to activate it, the units will appear as soon as you enter "My Castle", take advice that these units (Marth, Ike, Lucina, Robin, Anna and that other DLC character) will join you automatically, but you don't get to fight them, a little bit of a bummer, but beggars can't be choosers, they also don't come with their weapons, so no Falchion or Ragnell in here, unless you use a certain cheat program to get them, or you get lucky in that dlc mission (And i'm not sure if those weapons appear in that chapter either...)

Last note, you also have to make sure you are in Ch.16 or beyond, if the "Patched" version doesn't work with you, try to use the original plugin instead.
